Effect of covid measures on children's physical activity and sport

Title: Effect of covid measures on children's physical activity and sport Objectives: The primary objective of this study is to describe the impact of the anti- epidemic measures introduced in the context of the Covid pandemic on physical activity and sport among children aged 11-15 years living in Prague. Methods: The main method used to meet the objective was an electronic questionnaire based on a search of sources related to the issue. This questionnaire was used to collect primary data, which were then analysed using simple statistical methods and interpreted. Results: Both negative and positive effects of the Covid pandemic on physical activity and sport in children and adolescents have been identified. Among the negative ones are the observed decrease in the physical condition of individuals and the decline in their interest and activity in the physical activity groups organised by the school and the sports clubs with which they regularly participate in competitions. On the other hand, the positive effects were a rise in interest and activity in clubs with which they do not participate in competitions, as well as physical activities with family and physical activities they do alone or with friends. Physical fitness and Movement activity of children in Otrokovice

TITLE Physical fitness and Movement activity of children in Otrokovice AIM: The main aim of this Dissertation thesis is to ascertain the physical fitness level of children in Primary school in Otrokovice. The next task is to find out if athletic children attending some of the sport clubs which are offered by Otrokovice town. Further we inquire in which of the three schools are children the most physically able bodied and also we look into if the physical above-average children do the sport more often than the children physical below-average. So far we are interested whether the performances of above-average children have a lower amount subcutaneous fat than the performances of below-average children. METHOD: The data for this Dissertation thesis is generated through empirical quantitative research.This research was carried out under standardised conditions minimizing the outside influence (gymnasium). The Focus groups for this research are school-boys and school-girls from primary schools in Otrokovice. RESULTS: From the measuring results of the chosen sample shows, that more than half of the tested groups achieved below-average values in the motor tests. Title: Possibilities and limits of events promoting children sport participation - case study of Sazka Olympic multiple event Objectives: The aim of the study work is to evaluate the organization and success rate of the project "Sazka Olympic multiple event". The study analyses the possibilities and limits of the project, and provides recommendations how to improve the project in the following years. Methods: The study is a case study and uses mostly qualitative methods of research. Data collected from interviews and document analyses are then evaluated by the SWOT analysis. Results: The results of the study are proposals and recommendations for organization of "Sazka Olympic multiple event" which promotes children sport participation. The case study revealed both strengths and weaknesses of the project and defined its opportunities and threats. The recommendations may be used for the future realization of the project.
